Bite-Sized Bible

Bite-Sized Bible is another blog that i had to anaylize for this class. The writer's name that wrote the blog is Michael Martine; a man that seems to be older in age. Michael believes in God, which is why i chose his blog because i believe the same as him, and is honest and forthright because he says how America is slowly going down the drain.
The reason Michael says he blogs is to spread the word of God. He has great authenticity because he uses the bible and bible verses as references. The bible is a good reference because it has been around for a long time and has been quoted and used by many great people to this day. Michael's intended readers/audience is everyone, both believers and non-believers; his assumption, i guess, is that everyone needs God, no matter who you are.
The tactic that Michael uses to foster loyalty to his uses is that his title of his blog is "Get the Truth for Free." With this title, Michael telling his readers that he will tell them the truth no matter what. With this tactic, Michael is hoping to get visitors, female and male alike, to come to his site. With people using this site, they can find useful information for essays, research papers, and many other stuff.
I personally think this is a great site. This site has had many responses from many different kinds of people. This blog has lots of appeal. It looks neat, has good colors for readers, it is well organized so it looks like a real website, it is well balanced in a way that tells the good and bad ot the world today, and uses formal and informal language so the readers can associate with the blog better. Hopefully this blog can get its message out for everyone to see; That God is real and waiting for us to come to him.

Issues

Here are some issues that i'm having to deal wiht here at school and in general too.

War: is it ever going to end? If it continues, will there be a draft put out?

Government: is it trustworthy or corrupt?

The Economy: money issues/ is USA falling into a recession.

Room mate: i had a room mate steal from me and my other two room mates. We lost books, a laptop, and a x-box. I hope the police can catch him but will they?

Cellphone: i really need a new one. mine only has calling and an alarm. no camera or texting.

Weather: will Summer ever come around?

Gas/Job/Car: gas is slowly rising again. I need to find a job to help pay off college. I hope my car can last the rest of this year without needing to be fixed again-i'm broke.

Classes: can i make the grades again?

Public Spheres

Public Spheres are defined as geographical, textual, or technological sites and forums that are accessible to people, invite their participation, and provide opportunities for that participation.
Here are some examples that I've found:
Church: you talk about ideas here for the community, the preacher preaches about the bible and gives us knowledge about Christ.
Newspapers: you read about people's thoughts and feelings on different issues(Obama, taxes, etc).
Library: most have a bulletin board for community activities; such as children's book night, puppet shows, and the adult reading group. It has a quiet, calm feeling to it so people there can read books either for fun or for research.
News Channels: Has information about the weather, local and global problems are discussed.
Barber shop: Some have bulletin board for vehicles for sale and/or animals for sale. Gossip is found here too.
Bulletin boards at USI: tells about ways to help students study, where an activity is located, where to find help for studying purposes, and ways to help pay for college.
Sidewalk chalk at USI: tells what different groups and/or activities are going on at USI for the week and/or that day.
